EasyGov.swiss: the online portal for companies

A single online portal for companies which can be used to access public services of the Confederation, cantons and communes. This project culminated in the introduction of  EasyGov.swiss  in November 2017. The transaction portal is designed as a one-stop shop and simplifies exchanges between businesses and administrations and reduces the administrative burden on companies and authorities.

Easier to use e-services

EasyGov generally restricts itself to government processes or other government offerings and thus does not compete with private sector offerings. After registering once on the platform, companies can use a large number of eGovernment services: setting up a company, entering changes to the commercial register, providing salary declarations for Suva, registering for VAT, requesting debt collection information and applying for Sunday working.

Thanks to the centralised offering on a platform spanning different authorities, companies save a lot of time. They do not need to know which authority is responsible for a given service. Company data that is required on a regular basis needs to be entered only once or is taken directly from registries (once-only principle). Moreover, private service providers such as trustees and notaries can use EasyGov to handle official business on behalf of a company. The government services offering is to be expanded significantly by 2023.

Implementation plan objective 1/21

Expanding EasyGov.swiss

«EasyGov.swiss makes it easier for companies to locate the public services they require. It enables efficient operation by providing a central access portal for public services from the Confederation, cantons and communes. The secure and reliable access portal allows approval, application and registration processes to be carried out in the same place using the once-only principle.»
