Groupe latin
The Groupe latin brings together the French-speaking delegates of Digital Public Services Switzerland. The group meets five times a year and focuses on the exchange and strengthened collaboration between cantons in Western Switzerland.
Cooperation agreement
The Groupe latin is a coordination group for the IT officers from the cantons and cities of Western Switzerland. The basis for this is the cooperation agreement of December 1995 between the cantons of Fribourg, Geneva, Jura, Neuchâtel, Ticino, Valais, Vaud and Bern, and the cities of Geneva, Lausanne and Neuchâtel. They have since been joined by the cities of Delémont, Fribourg, Lugano and Sion.
Thanks to the regular exchange of experiences, joint projects can be undertaken and collaboration between the members can be promoted.
The communes and cities take turns to organise the working meetings. The group is chaired by Philippe Hatt, Delegate for IT Strategy of the canton of Valais.
