The most important in brief
The Confederation, cantons, municipalities and cities are strengthening their cooperation in the development and management of digital administration.
The Federal Council and the plenary assembly of the Conference of Cantonal Governments (KdK) decided on a comprehensive project to this end at the beginning of April 2020. Existing human and financial resources of eGovernment Switzerland and the Swiss Informatics Conference (SIK) were pooled in the process. They will be used more effectively in the new joint organization Digital Public Services Switzerland (DVS) to accelerate progress in the digitization of the administration.
